クラン・モンタナで発生した火災事故について
2026年1月1日未明、スイス南部ヴァレー/ヴァリス州の山岳リゾート地クラン・モンタナ（Crans Montana）のバー「ル・コンステラシオン Le Constellation」で火災事故が発生し、40名を超える死者と多くの負傷者が発生したことが日本でも報じられております。
在スイス日本国大使館によりますと、本事故において日本人の被害者はいないことが確認されています。
個人的なことではありますが、クラン・モンタナは筆者にとって10歳の頃に初めて訪れたスイスのスキーリゾートで、大変思い入れのある土地でこのような痛ましい事故が発生したことを大変悲しく思っています。
負傷された方の一日も早いご回復と、亡くなられた方々の御冥福をお祈り申し上げます。
Aux premières heures du 1er janvier 2026, un incendie s’est déclaré dans le bar Le Constellation, situé dans la station de montagne de Crans-Montana, dans le canton du Valais, au sud de la Suisse. Selon les informations relayées au Japon, ce drame a causé la mort de plus de quarante personnes et fait de nombreux blessés.
À titre personnel, Crans-Montana occupe une place toute particulière dans mon cœur, car il s’agit de la station de ski suisse que j’ai visitée pour la première fois à l’âge de dix ans. C’est donc avec une profonde tristesse que j’ai appris qu’un tel drame s’y est produit.
Je présente mes plus sincères condoléances aux familles des personnes décédées et adresse mes vœux de prompt rétablissement à toutes les personnes blessées.
In the early hours of January 1, 2026, a tragic fire broke out at the bar Le Constellation in the mountain resort of Crans-Montana, located in the canton of Valais in southern Switzerland. The incident resulted in the deaths of more than 40 people and left many others injured, as reported in Japan as well.
On a personal note, Crans-Montana is a place of special significance to me, as it was the first Swiss ski resort I visited at the age of ten. For this reason, I am deeply saddened by the occurrence of such a devastating tragedy in a place that holds dear memories for me.
I would like to extend my deepest condolences to those who lost their lives, and I sincerely wish for the swift recovery of all those who were injured.
In den frühen Morgenstunden des 1. Januar 2026 ereignete sich in der Bar Le Constellation im Bergresort Crans-Montana im Kanton Wallis im Süden der Schweiz ein verheerender Brand. Wie auch in Japan berichtet wurde, kamen dabei mehr als 40 Menschen ums Leben, zahlreiche weitere wurden verletzt.
Persönlich verbindet mich mit Crans-Montana eine besondere Erinnerung, da es der erste Schweizer Skiort war, den ich im Alter von zehn Jahren besucht habe. Umso schmerzlicher ist es für mich, dass sich an einem Ort mit so großer persönlicher Bedeutung eine derart tragische Katastrophe ereignet hat.
Ich spreche den Hinterbliebenen mein aufrichtiges Beileid aus und wünsche allen Verletzten eine schnelle und vollständige Genesung.
